Welcome to the 2019 Swim Season

We are looking forward to another exciting Swim Team season! Diana Matthews will be returning as Head Swim Coach. Last year, under her leadership, WSTC won another League Championship!

Swim Team

All children ages 5 to 16 are welcome to join the Swim Team. We especially encourage our teen members to join the Swim Team – it’s a great way to meet friends and stay in shape! We will be holding a Swim Team parent’s meeting before the season begins, and the date and time will be announced at a later time.

Meet Schedule

WSTC competes in the Middlesex Summer Swim League, which includes Sun Valley, Lexington Town Pool, Winchester Boat Club, Paint Rock Pool, and Winchester Country Club. Meets** are held on Wednesdays unless otherwise indicated (see meet schedule below). Meets begin at 3:30 pm, and warm ups begin at 3:00 pm.

 

**In order to swim in meets, swimmers must sign up by Monday at 5:00 pm the week of the meet. The sign up form will be available at the front desk.

Swim Team Basic Information

Sign-up, Cost and Suit Fitting
Sign-up forms will be at the front desk beginning Saturday, May 25. Cost is $75 and includes instruction, organized meets, t-shirt and banquet. Suit fitting date to be announced.

Pre-Season Practices* (June 4 - June 13)

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Ages 7 - 10:  6:15 - 6:45 pm
Ages 11 and up: 6:45 - 7:30 p.m.

* there will be no preseason practices for ages 6 and under

Regular Season Practices (June 20 - July 26)

Team Practices are on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Ages 6 & under:  9:15 - 9:45 am

Ages 7-10:  9:15 - 10:00 am

Ages 11 & up:  8:30 - 9:15 am and/or 4:45 - 5:30 pm**

** afternoon practice/specialty clinic only offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
